Jovie

Jovie is my 1 yr old daughter.  Her full name is Jovie Capri Gaddis.  We got the name Jovie from the movie Elf several years ago.  In fact, if Jaxon were a girl, his name would have been Jovie Capri, but she came second.  Capri is a little more complicated of a story.  I was hosting the Miss Arizona back in 2004 and one of the past Miss Arizona’s, who I presented one of the awards with, name was Capri Rose.  Bethany and I loved that name, and we had never heard it before, so we already had Jovie picked out, so we put them together.  All of this happened and we weren’t even pregnant with our first child.  So, we settled on Jovie Capri.

She is so much more than the cool name she has.  She stole my heart the moment she came out of the womb.  She is a beautiful, strong willed little girl that, like my wife, makes me cry just looking at her sometimes.
